SIGNIFICANT PROJECTS

Through significant projects in the areas of culture and education, we are committed to:

Expanding the offerings of Catholic schools and universities

Involving the Catholic educational and cultural network in the training of students, teachers and researchers, fostering the transfer of knowledge and mutual support

Developing new educational models with a view to their extension

Deepening and spreading the universality of the Church

In recent years, we have implemented projects in the following countries:

Ivory Coast

Starting from the concrete need to renew professional supply chains, we accompanied the development of the Don Orione Technical and Vocational Center in Bonoua.

Democratic Republic of the Congo

In the House of Peace in Kikwit, we experimented with a new educational model centered on education, to which the different activities of the village (social, health, economic, artistic…) are traced back.

Chile

In collaboration with the local Episcopal Conference and three universities (Universidad Católica Silva Henríquez, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, Universidad Pontificia Universidad Católica del Norte) we have promoted a project aimed at the full inclusion of children of foreign origin present in elementary school.

India e the Philippines

Students from De La Salle University Dasmariñas (Manila) and Christ Deemed to be University (Bangalore) reported on their respective communities through journalistic contributions published in Vatican News and relaunched worldwide. At the end of the correspondence-training, some students had the opportunity to spend an internship experience in Vatican media.
