STUDIES AND SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH

We promote studies and scientific research, fostering networking among educational institutions, knowledge transfer and mutual support.

Among the most significant research activities conducted in recent years are:

"Youth and Their Choices" Survey

In 2018, on the occasion of the Synod dedicated to them, we gave the word to 17 thousand young people on all continents. The data, scientifically collected, form a starting point for rethinking youth policies, inspiring the Foundation’s projects.

Research «Democracy, an educational urgency»

The project involved 14 universities around the world: in their respective contexts they carried out research activities on the relationship between education and democracy and training activities, through pathways to democratic citizenship education. Among the results of the project were numerous publications, annual seminars and a concluding Congress (Rome, 2021).

We are furthermore engaged in the identification and dissemination of particularly significant experiences in the areas of Catholic culture and education.
